The PUK is one of the core components of the Plug & Light system to make your luminaire Plug & Light capable. As a part of your luminaire, the PUK consists of an electronic assembly (incl. sliding contacts), magnets, and a black housing on which you can print your logo or anything else. In order to sell a lamp as Plug & Light capable, connect your LEDs via the screwless terminals in the PUK and then install it in your luminaire housing. The PUK with bayonet joint was designed for luminaires with a weight up to 1.5 kg and in combination with the light socket with bayonet ensures safe locking.
